On June 15th I flew out to LA, California to surprise one of my best friends for her birthday. For her sake I will not say what birthday but I can tell you its not as old as she makes it out to be!We had a great time. I got to experience a real CA day spa. Mud "bathing" and all! (It was more like mud lathering really) yes, we took pictures; however, I am not at liberty to disclose them.
All in all it was fun to see the sights, do a little shopping, eat "chick" food (as Johnathon would call it) all weekend and catch up with each other. I was also very grateful I was able to attend her church commissioning service sending her and her roommate out onto the mission field.

I kinda feel like a celebrity being mentioned in someone's blog. :) I love you! Thanks for coming out to visit me. It was super fun. I don't think I ever realized that I eat chick food until you said something, and I thank you again for not disclosing the mud bath pictures for public view. HAHA!
I will only email the mud pics out upon request...just kidding! I don't really consider it chick food either, but as long as it's not BBQ or steak and potatoes it's chick food to Johnathon. I'm really working on expanding his horizons...it hasn't been easy but he has come a long way. =)
Oh, that is toooo funny! I'm kind of embarrassed to say it, but I must admit I feel really sorry for her.
I've been praying that God will reach out to her during her "confinement" and draw her to Himself.
